MANifest Change supports young men to use their strength, intelligence and determination to make the community safer for everyone.
MANifest Change is a project of the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW). Research confirms that men and boys care about the safety of women and girls and that we know we have an important role to play in preventing gender-based violence.
How can we act effectively to address a persistent form of violence that remains constant even as other forms of violence decrease across Canada? And how can we intervene in ways that don’t escalate violence or make a situation worse for the people involved?
Facilitator Training is the first component of the MANifest Change model, and will be held January 15-17, 2018 at Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre (300 des Pères-Blancs Ave). Training will be held from 9am to 4pm each day.
Registration for Facilitator Training is closed. Place your name on the waitlist to be notified of future training opportunities.
